Description
When and where?
Use in ships exhaust gas scrubbers as alkaline feed. Mix in COW or steam injection for cargo and fuel tank cleaning.
How?
Exhaust scrubber unit:
Add to the scrubber’s alkali holding tank as described by the scrubber manufacturer.
Tank cleaning:
Use as degreaser agent for ships cargo tanks and fuel oil tanks, via COW, steam delivery systems or by HP washer. Dilution depends greatly on cargo characteristics and use with steam or cold water. Dilute as appropriate and according to ship’s cargo operations manual and MARPOL instructions.
* Do not use on aluminum, tin, zinc or galvanized surfaces.
